Azuma and Kushiyaki are both offering great new winter special’s for the Sydney Morning Herald’s ‘Appetite for Sydney’ Campaign. Dine out and help keep Sydney’s restaurant industry going.

The general manager of food and wine at Fairfax Media, Lisa Hudson, says: ''We are delighted to help the restaurant industry during what is proving to be a tough winter. This campaign offers our readers some great deals at the same time as giving restaurateurs a much-needed boost.''

Sake Tasting Event at Azuma –
Monday 9th July

Azuma, in conjunction with Sake-Net, were thrilled to host a fantastic Sake Tasting Event showcasing some very special Sakes, with the Sake Brewers visiting from Japan to chat to chat about their products! Open to the public as a FREE event, with delicious Azuma Canapés, the evening was a great success! Thanks to all those who came, to Sake-Net and of course to the Sake Brewers themselves – Mr Umetsu and Mrs & Mrs Shinkame.

Australian and international architects have taken action, creating an exhibition highlighting the need for emergency shelters in disaster zones and bringing awareness to the public about the role of the design and construction industry in the aftermath of natural disasters.

This limited edition wine is the result of collaboration between Sergio Carlei and Kimitaka Azuma. Together they were dedicated to producing a series of unique wines that not only compliment Azuma’s distinctive dishes, but would enhance your dining experience.

Carlei Wines, located in Upper Beaconsfield Victoria, have sourced special parcels from Yarra Valley, Cardinia Ranges, Port Phillip, Heathcote and Central Victoria to produced Azuma’s Wine of Sauvignon Blanc 2006, Chardonnay 2005, Pinot Noir 2005 and Shiraz 2005.
