Making homemade Umeshu. Final steps - Place the plums and cover them with rock sugar, then pour Shochu into the jars. Close the lid tightly and store the jars in a cool and dark place for at least 4 months, but we will wait for 1 year as it will be much better taste. We can’t wait to drink Azuma homemade Umeshu next year!
